UPCOMING EVENTS IN JANUARY, 2012
Myself and Michelle Walker (http://answerfortheailing.com) have been invited by The Justice Foundation/Operation Outcry (http://thejusticefoundation.org and http://www.operationoutcry.org) to attend a press conference in San Antonio in front of the Planned Parenthood facility in January. Myself and a couple others will be sharing our testimonies with the press (praying and believing that the media actually show up) on how important it is for a woman to see a sonogram before having an abortion. It will be shared how painful our lives became after our abortion, which could have been prevented if we had the opportunity to see a sonogram and hear the heartbeat of our baby.
We have also been invited to attend the hearing for the Texas Sonogram Law at the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals in NewOrleans, La. Our testimonies, along with the testimonies of 316 other women hurt by abortion has been included in the case as an Amicus Brief to defend the Texas Sonogram Law being attacked by a group of abortionists. Our presence in the court room will be for us to pray and intercede for the judge's panel and our Texas Attorney General and his team.

Myself, Michelle Walker (http://www.answerfortheailing.com), Theresa Walker, Juda Myers, and Patricia attended the Houston Women's Group (feminist meeting) at First Unitarian Universalist Church (http://www.firstuu.org). Myself, Juda, and Patricia shared our testimonies of how rape and/or abortion hurts women and the healing we received through Jesus Christ. Michelle and Theresa shared a few words with the group and video taped the testimonies. Though most who attended the group were not pro-life (some were atheists), they welcomed us and seeds were planted. We also got a few speaking invitations, including helping to counsel women at a counseling center here in Houston.

UPDATE FROM AUGUST 6, 2011
Myself and Michelle Walker (http://answerfortheailing.com) attended 'The Response' (http://theresponseusa.com). Myra Myers, North Texas State Leader of Operation Outcry, attended with us. It was called by Texas Governor Rick Perry, for prayer and fasting for a nation in crisis. The event was held at Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas. The reported number of those in attendance varied, but the counter at the Stadium registered over 44,000 and another 100,000 reportedly watched via live web stream.

God's spirit was in the Stadium as we worshipped and prayed in one accord for a historic breakthrough for our country and a renewed sense of moral purpose. We prayed for and want the presence, power, and person of Christ to fill our nation and turn the hearts of millions to righteousness, peace, and joy in Him.
Governor Perry declared Christ, read several scriptures from the Word of God, and then prayed a moving prayer.
I was honored to have been a part of this event and thankful to the Lord for what He is going to be doing for our nation through our prayers.

Approximately 12 pm on Tuesday May 24, 2011, Michelle Walker (@answer4theailin) and I, along with Allan Parker, President of The Justice Foundation, Molly White and Myra Myers - Operation Outcry Texas State Leaders and several other OO members with us were honored to be present in the Governor's Reception Room in our state capitol in Austin,TX for the signing of the Sonogram Bill HB15 (which we played a part in helping to get it passed) into law by Governor Rick Perry.
Also attending were other pro life groups and Senator Dan Patrick, Representative Sid Miller and all other supporters and authors of this new pro life law for Texas.
Governor Perry also thanked and honored all of us women of Operation Outcry before signing the bill. Michelle and I also had an the opportunity to follow Joe Pojman - Director of Texas Alliance for Life - and a group of pro life advocates (18 of us in all) to voice our support and share our testimonies to several senator's offices on behalf of bill SB23, which will defund Planned Parenthood of Texas taxpayer money.
The last visit of the day was to Representative Parker's offfice. The staffer there gave us the report that the 'Choose Life' license plate finally passed Congress after 11 years of trying to get this available for us in Texas. He said that by Sept. 1, 2011, it will be available for anyone to purchase, with the money going to support pregnancy centers that offer alternatives to abortion.

Myself, Nona Ellington & Myra Myers worked a booth respresenting Operation Outcry (www.operationoutcry.org) at Unite for Life Houston 2010 (www.uniteforlife2010.org).
The Catholic Charismatic Center hosted Unite for Life - Houston 2010 on 10-23-10. Pro-Life forces gathered in Houston dedicated to shut down Planned Parenthood - the largest abortion facility in the Western Hemisphere located in the heart of Houston. We came together for community prayer & march to the Planned Parenthood site. We are committed to shutting down this Planned Parenthood and ending ALL abortion in our city.

Myself & Nona Ellington participated in March of the Surviving Youth which took place in Houston, TX on 9-25-10. Hosted by 40 Days for Life (www.40daysforlife.com) & Houston Coalition for Life (www.houstoncoalition.com).
This was a pro-life march & prayer vigil around Planned Parenthood Mega Center (the largest abortion clinic in America).

Myself & Nona Ellington attended meeting - 'Health Professionals for Life' - with Allan Parker of the Justice Foundaton. He spoke to Doctors and leaders in the community about protecting women's rights to sue abortionists in Texas.

UPDATE FROM THE LAST 10 WEEKS LEADING UP TO MAY 29, 2010
Thank you everyone for praying for our Oil of Joy ministry team that has been going into the Plane State women's prison every Saturday for the last 10 weeks to do the abortion recovery program for the wounded hearts there!
On May 29, we all celebrated the restoration of these mothers together at their graduation service! All were able to share their testimony at the front of what the Lord has done in their hearts and lives during the 10 week course. As they came up to share, they also received their certificate of graduation. Some even said that it was the only certificate they had ever received. One beautiful lady even sang a very anointed song for us that was very appropriate for the day with a very gorgeous voice, 'My Tribute'. Afterwards, we all had fun eating cookies and refreshing green tea that we brought for them. They were so happy, they all looked like little children opening presents on Christmas morning.
Thank you to all of you who have been a huge part of this restoration movement of God in Plane State prison by interceding for us and contributing to us financially. We do not take your prayers lightly. Without prayer, this work could never be accomplished. You are very valuable to our Lord!

UPDATE FROM HOPE FOR LIFE CONFERENCE
Thank you very much for praying for our most recent event, the Hope for Life Conference (h).
in Dallas, TX April 14 - 17, 2010. The Lord came through for us with the funds needed to be able to make this ministry trip.
He is so faithful! Michelle Walker and I made many divine connections while there and received much wisdom and encouraging Words from the Lord. We were able to get many great pictures and video of several speakers and leaders of
the pro life movement.
We were invited to attend the upcoming Cry for Life conference in Holland on Sep.11-18, which will also include a tour of Auschwitz (former Nazi concentration camp) and Berlin. I was able to speak to all of the members of this pro life team from Holland about the women's prison ministry that I am a part of and also tell them of my sister in law who is also from Holland, although she and my brother live in the US now, since 2005. They even said that we were welcome to stay in their home when we go. Isn't God just so cool!
It appears that God is opening many new doors and opportunities for us to share His love to the hurting and the outcasts.
I am thankful for each and every one of you for praying for us and believing in this move of God to restore those that have
been wounded by abortion.

Last Sunday I was honored once again to be a part of the ministry team (from Reverend Rhonda Arias/Oil of Joy Ministries, www.oilofjoyformourning.org) to the women at Plane State Jail in Dayton, TX. The worship and Word was awesome as the Holy Spirit's presence was so evident among us. Thank you to everyone who prayed for us, for we value your prayers very much!

Bound4LIFE - Prayer Rally and March Event
Houston, Texas
In working with Bound 4 Life (www.bound4life.com), I took part in The Call Prayer Rally and March Event here in Houston, Texas. Michelle Walker accompanied me. Thousands gathered to pray, fast and peacefully siege the massive injustice of Planned Parenthood building the world's 2nd largest abortion facility here in Houston. There was a silent march through the streets to the Planned Parenthood site (set to open in March 2010), a nationwide press conference and silent prayer stand.

We prayed and believed in agreement that this facility will not shed blood, but it will instead be used as a facility for healing and life. I believe we have made and are making a difference. Believe with me that abortions WILL NOT take place here.

Myself and several others worked with Rhonda Arias/Oil of Joy to minister to women at Plane State Prison in Dayton, Texas. This was a 2 hr. chapel service where we had an opportunity to worship, be fed the Word from Rhonda, receive communion, and have 1 on 1 interaction with some of the women.

Myself. Michelle Walker and several others worked with Rhonda Arias/Oil of Joy to minister at an all womens facility, Mt. View Prison in Gatesville, Texas.
The first portion of the day we went cell to cell, ministering to hurting hearts. The latter portion of the day was spent in an atmosphere of the love of Christ in the prison chapel, where we had the opportunity to worship the Lord with the wonderful women of Mt. View and received a word from the Lord from powerful preacher Rhonda Arias. She left us with the covenant word, the Lord will always come back around for us.

UPDATE FROM JANUARY 24, 2009:
The 2009 Texas Rally for Life was the largest ever, thanks to all those who promoted and attended this rousing event!
Thousands marched from Republic Square to the South Steps of the Capitol on January 24, chanting and holding signs that encouraged legislators to pass bills that help women and men "Choose Life," not death, for their unborn children.
One of the featured speakers was Gov. Rick Perry, who has signed more pro-life bills into law than any governor in Texas, strongly encouraged the crowd (and legislators!) to stand strong in the face of a pro-abortion national government. He urged everyone to support current pro-life legislation in Texas such as the Choose Life license plate bill (H.B. 109) and efforts to fund morally sound adult stem cell research (S.B. 73). (Sign the Choose Life license plate petition online!)

UPDATE FROM NOVEMBER 8, 2008 EVENT:
I worked w/ The Justice Foundation (www.thejusticefoundation.org) & Operation Outcry (www.operationoutcry.org) at their annual fund raising event. It was called 'The Justice Foundation's 2008 Annual Life in the West Gala' in San Antonio. The evening's 'Amazing Grace' theme commemorated how William Wilberforce helped to eliminate slavery in the British Empire in the 1800's and the many parallels between his lifelong battle and the struggle of the pro-life movement today. Ken Wales, Producer of the movie 'Amazing Grace' (2007) was the Keynote Speaker. Other special guests were Mike Schnabel (Lessons from the Roundpen Ministries) & a representative from the 'Belle' (2007) movie team. Some Operation Outcry workers also spoke, sharing their testimonies.
There was a feel of anticiation in the air as we united as one for the cause of the unborn. Close to my heart was near the closing of the evening, when we sang, 'Amaging Grace'. And it really is ... Amazing Grace.

UPDATE FROM JULY 30 - AUGUST 1, 2008 EVENT:
In working with Operation Outcry, I shared my testimony on a taping of their television/radio program 'Faces of Abortion' (which you can see later on Operation Outcry's website (www.operationoutcry.org) or on SkyAngel). It is scheduled to air sometime this fall. The episode that I speak on will be #516.
The shooting was an awesome experience. Wish you could have been there. The Christian TV Station (KPLE-TV in Killeen, TX) and it's owner Katherine were great. The people were awesome and so down to earth. So many stories of hurting women, pouring out their hearts in a unified plea to just say no to abortion.
Thank ya'll so much for all ya'lls support and prayers. Couldn't have done it without ya'll!
