You Can Have Peace

Peace: State of tranquility or quiet; state of security; freedom from oppressive thoughts or emotions;

harmony in personal relationships.

All of the following scriptures are from the Holy Bible-New Living Translation.

“May the Lord show you His favor and give you His peace.” (Numbers 6:26)

“Turn away from evil and do good. Work hard at living in

peace with others.” (Psalms 34:14)

“For a child is born to us, a Son is given to us. And the government will rest on His shoulders. These will be His

royal titles: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,

Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” (Isaiah 9:6)

“You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in You, whose thoughts are fixed on You!” (Isaiah 26:3)

“Then words of praise will be on their lips. May they have peace, both near and far, for I will heal them all, says the Lord.” (Isaiah 57:19)

“Glory to God in the highest heaven, and peace on earth to

all whom God favors.” (Luke 2:14)

“I am leaving you with a gift – peace of mind and heart.

And the peace I give isn’t like the peace the world gives.

So don’t be troubled or afraid.” (John 14:27)

“Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight

by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus

Christ our Lord has done for us.” (Romans 5:1)

“But when the Holy Spirit controls our lives, He will produce this kind of fruit in us: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control…” (Galatians 5:22-23)

“For Christ Himself  has made peace between us Jews and you Gentiles by making us all one people. He has broken down the wall of hostility that used to separate us.” (Ephesians 2:14)

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done.

If you do this, you will experience God’s peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand.

His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-7)

“And those who are peacemakers will plant seeds of peace and reap a harvest of goodness.” (James 3:18)

“Do your part to live in peace with everyone, as much as possible.” (Romans 12:18)

“I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. As you make your requests, plead for God’s mercy upon them, and give thanks. Pray this way for kings and all others who are in authority, so that we can live in peace and quietness, in godliness and dignity.” (I Timothy 2:1-2)
