Hi, I'm Nona Ellington, Founder and President of Eagles Restoration Ministries.
The Lord began dealing with me back in 2003 that He wanted to bless me with a ministry to minister to the hurting and wounded, and especially those affected by abortion. I also minister to those who have been or are being abused and/or going through or been through a divorce.
I have served as a peer counselor for the Crisis Pregnancy Center Central in Houston, Texas. I have served as a small group facilitator in the post abortion healing ministry of Beauty for Ashes Ministries International, also in Houston. I have shared my testimony for the World's Largest Baby Shower outreach on Christian radio, 89.3 FM KSBJ. I also participated in a sidewalk demonstration in downtown Houston for Operation Outcry on 'How Abortion Hurts Women'. I had the honor of sharing my testimony for a television program called 'Faces of Abortion' for Operation Outcry that aired in the Fall of 2008.
(Pictured here on my left is Michelle, my Vice President.) It's one of my main goals to share with people from all walks of life that they are loved by God. No matter where they've been or what they've done. That they are valuable, they are loved, they are special. That they are forgiven of their past when they ask Jesus to come into their heart and to forgive them. And it's time to forgive our self. Stop hating our self. People must know that there is healing for those that are hurt and wounded. And that if someone has had an abortion for any reason ... God STILL loves them. And wants to enter the hurt and woundedness from the past and bring healing so that they can be free to be what God intended for them to be. Guilt and shame can be laid down & left at the Cross, because Jesus became the guilt offering for us.
